First Day Paperwork is Ready! ๐ Families can complete required school forms online or on paper. To complete online, click here for more information. Paper packets will be sent home the first week of school and can be returned in Homeroom.
This week South Portland Schools held an orientation for new teachers, where they had the opportunity to meet and learn more about the district. We can't wait for students to meet them in just a couple of weeks!

Welcome Dr. George Entwistle, South Portland Schools' Superintendent! Tandy Ratliff, Board Chair, shares: "Dr. Entwistle served previously as Superintendent of Schools in Scarborough, Falmouth and Belmont, Massachusetts. In these roles, he led district-wide improvements in academic performance, strategic planning, budgeting, and student servicesโalways with a focus on inclusive, high-quality learning environments. Join us on Saturday, August 23rd at the Maine Mall for a Back to School Bash! Donations of school supplies will be accepted with the goal to fill 150 backpacks for South Portland students. Wishlist items include reusable water bottles, earbuds, pencils, pens, spiral notebooks, and more. ๐ There will also be activities and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy!
The Summer Meal Program continues next week at South Portland Middle School with breakfast and lunch served Monday through Thursday for anyone in the community who is 18 and under.
