Tuesday, January 6th: There will be an informational meeting for 7th & 8th grade students interested in the spring play--Alice in Wonderland--in the chorus room after school tomorrow (Wednesday, January 7th).
Monday, January 5th: 5th & 6th grade cheerleading practice is canceled today. 7th & 8th cheerleaders will be dismissed at 3:00.

Tuesday, December 16th: 5/6 Ski Club will meet today for the first ski of the season after school today until 4:40.
Nothing is better than a pancake breakfast with friends and family! 🥞 South Portland Middle School teachers and staff prepared and served pancakes, fruit, juice, and coffee for 5-8th grade students and their families on Friday last week.
Monday, December 15th: 5-8 Cheer practice is canceled today. There will be an informational meeting & boot fitting for 5th & 6th grade students interested in winter Ski Club after school today with Mr. Lunt. Ski Club will meet tomorrow for those who have signed permission slips.
The annual food drive is happening next week at South Portland Middle School, December 15-19! Students, staff, and community members are invited to bring non-perishable food items to SPMS to support the grade of their choice (5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th). All donations will support the SPMS food pantry and The Locker Project, who partners with the district to provide food assistance to members of the community. The grade that raises the most food will win the honor of being the 2025 FOOD FEUD CHOMP-IONS! 🦈
