Planting Hope Gardens to spread hope 🌷💛 South Portland High School students started a club called Advocates for Mental Health to encourage more conversations about mental health and normalize help seeking behaviors. Their first project is participating in the Yellow Tulip Project. By planting tulip bulbs in the courtyard at the high school, South Portland Middle School, and the South Portland Police Department, they are creating Hope Gardens that will bloom in the spring.

The Outdoor Club is ready to ride! 🚲 Led by advisors Mr. Lunt and Mr. Wetzel, this afterschool club at SPMS provides bikes and helmets to students to go on bike rides on the school campus and on trails around South Portland. In the winter, they will gear up to go cross-country skiing!
