Our students are far more diverse than is typical in Maine. Students of color comprise more than a third of our student population. We are proud to serve many students from asylum seeking families who journeyed to Maine from a number of home countries, including the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Angola, Haiti, and several Central American nations. The education of all of our students is enriched by the linguistic, racial, and ethnic diversity of our students.
