Elementary & Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Report Card

The ESEA Report Cards are designed to meet federal requirements for data reporting as outlined in the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). States are required to provide an annual report card to inform stakeholders about the progress of students and schools on indicators of student achievement, graduation rates, status of ESEA accountability and information on fully certified teachers.

The report cards are made available to the public by the followings methods:

  • On the district web-site
  • Presented annually at a televised School Board Meeting
  • Upon request from the Central Office

Contents of each Report

  • Assessment Data
  • Accountability Data
  • Teacher Quality Data

The Maine DOE will no longer distribute PDF district and school ESEA report cards.  All ESEA report cards are now are housed within the ESEA Dashboard. The ESEA Dashboard is available here: https://www.maine.gov/doe/dashboard

Questions regarding our ESEA Report Cards should be directed to the Interim Assistant Superintendent Megan Welter: welterme@spsdme.org & 207-871-0555
