| Need a class you can take at home? |
Starting this winter, it is possible for you to take a class without even leaving your home. South Portland Adult Education is offering math, science and English courses through PLATO, a web-based learning system. A variety of courses and levels are available, but sample titles include chemistry, physical science, geometry, algebra, and high school English.
To succeed at this program, you need to be self motivated and able to work independently. There will be a teacher at adult education who can help answer your questions and guide your progress.
