REPORTS TO PARENTS

Reports on student progress are provided in several different forms in the various grade levels. Report of Progress are issued three times per year in grades K-5. They shall be sent home one week after the close of the ranking period. Reports of Progress in grades K-5 are expected to be returned to school, signed by the parent or guardian within 3 to 4 days. A copy of the Report of Progress shall be sent to the parent and student at the end of the school year.

Students in grades 6-8 will receive progress reports in the middle of each quarter. Report Cards will be sent home to parents/guardians of students in grades 6-8 in a timely manner following the end of the ranking period. Parents/guardians may keep the Report Cards and are expected to sign and return the envelope to school.
Students in grades 9-12 will receive progress reports in the middle of each quarter. Report Cards for all students in grades 9-12 are issued quarterly.

Parents of children receiving special education services shall receive written progress reports on IEP goals in conjunction with the building’s schedule of quarterly or trimester reports to parents.
